Laying in a hammock on a stone patio, giving thanks for sunshine (mixed with gnarly rainclouds) and free wifi, just now feeling ready to settle into the traveling groove. A hot shower and a good night’s rest does wonders for the soul.
We haven’t seen much of Bogotá yet, besides the impossible to notice massive and breathtaking mountains that surround it, dotted with Cathedrals, along with a few street markets and juice vendors. We’ll be moving into a couchsurfing situation for the weekend and will explore the area more, so I’ll post again as more interesting events occur.
For now, back to laying and studying the Spanish that I’ve so suddenly realized I am not very capable of speaking.
